The Japanese are just the masters of making everything either super cute, or breathtakingly beautiful! Great photo finds.

Chantel: bento is a Japanese single serve meal in a box! Tradionally a black and red lacquer box, but nowadays the most amazing, elaborate bento are created! Cute.

they are really adorable and easily adaptable for adults too.

the only thing i worry about is whether or not the plastic is safe. after that all the research with BPA in plastic baby bottles i just wonder if storing food in plastic is the best?

I followed a bento blog for a while; this collection made me want to check out the blogs you recommended and start following one again. I know I would have eaten my school lunches as a kid if they were this cute!
