Cupcakes for a friend

One of my friends had an awesome birthday party on the weekend - lots of fantastic people, wonderful food and sing star of course. I was asked to bake the birthday boy some cupcakes for the event. So I baked 12 ferrero rocher cupcakes and 12 snickers cupcakes - mmm so much chocolatey goodness.

Well I should of baked more, because these babies were demolished in a matter of minutes and everyone loved them! It was great to see everyone enjoying my cupcakes - it put a huge smile on my face :)

Yay for cupcakes!

That is one thing I really love about cooking is watching people enjoying what I have made. It always makes me feel good.

I love when I bake and the kids walk in the door after school. That expression and the exclamations and excitement are awesome.
Your cupcakes look great. I esp. love those truffle ones!

They look positively droolsome Alicia.

Do you find people are super impressed with your cupcake courier too? People tend to be in awe of mine whenever I put it to work.

There's just something about watching other people enjoy your hard work that is so incredibly satisfying. Good job -- your cupcakes look great! Sounds like they tasted wonderful, too, but I didn't doubt that ;)

As the lucky birthday boy I just want to thank you once again Alicia for the awesome cupcakes. They were definitely a highlight of the night. One of my friends classified them as 'weapons grade' which is his way of complimenting them. They were gooooooooood :D
