Good bye

Wave goodbye
Image

This past week I have slowly realised that I have taken on far too much and that my 'busy' life has been a big part of me developing post natal depression. So I am sorry to say that this will be my last blog post. I have truly enjoyed the past few years getting to know you all but now it is time for me to return to the real world and focus on what is really important to me - my health, my girls, my family, my friends and my study.

So thank you deer readers - I will miss you all.

Alicia! I'll miss you, we'll all miss you, but you are right focusing on your life is the most important thing! You are so wonderful! I wish you and your girls the best of everything! ♥

Hey Alicia, I think it's good taking a break and focus on yourself first. In a few months time, you might enjoy popping in your space once in a while and say hello. Putting too much pressure on yourself is always devastating - I know how it feels as I do it too often myself.
Let go, love and enjoy!
Wishing you well! XO Mitsy

Sorry to see you go - but I can understand the reasons why. I haven't blogged since January - I can't find the motivation for so many reasons. It's hard trying to fit everything in and in the end something's gotta give.
Goodluck with all your endeavours, hope you find happiness soon :)

oh Alicia - I'm so sorry that you're leaving as I have only just started getting to know you and your lovely blog. Having been through mild PND I do understand the reason behind you leaving and I hope that you are able to find balance in your live and get past it and enjoy both of your girls.

I wish you all the best and hope that you might one day come back to your blog and those of us that love reading it.

Alicia! I am so sorry to read that you feel you need to stop blogging. While I completely understand, I've had to have breaks too, I do hope that one day you will be ready to come back to it. Remember that we are always still here for you if you need support. I do hope you'll stay on Twitter at least, so we can keep in touch. Looking after yourself is very important too.
Take care and much much love xox

Awww, Alicia I'm sorry to hear that but at the same time my blog break last week was just what I needed, so definitely do what you need to do. It's so easy to get caught up in blogging and the internet that you get distracted from everything else.

Good luck, it's been wonderful being blog friends and I hope you start to feel better really soon. I'll be thinking of you and your little family :) x

Awww Alicia, so sad to hear your situation :( As much as I love reading your blog and drooling over your sweet treats, I can completely understand your need for time away to get things together again.
I hope you manage to pull through quickly and are feeling better real soon.
Will be thinking of you and your girls :) and if you decide to come back we will still be here.

Alicia, I've enjoyed your blog in the few weeks now that I've known it. I know what a tough decision it is to cut things out of our lives that are weighing us down, but I am sure you will feel a great sense of relief once you finally give yourself a break. I have two toddlers and had to give myself a break from most things for a good part of 2010 - I know it feels!

Good luck with everything you do! I hope to see The Red Deer back again someday :)

Alicia, I noticed this week that you had dissapeared from my FB and was wondering if everything was ok with you. You are amazing to take on all that you have. I hope you can take this time to concentrate on yourself and your girls, and hopefully one day soon come back and share your beautiful blog with us again. Allee x

Alicia, you should be proud of yourself for recognizing what is most important in your life. Take good care of yourself and those beautiful babies of yours.

I am sad to see you go because I had just started reading your blog and was excited to get to know you.

However, I do understand that priorities shift and that we have to make adjustments. A blog is really not that important, if we think of it.

All the best to you and your family!!

I wish you all the best, Alicia. The fact that you are making difficult decisions to get on the right track shows that you are getting stronger. If you ever feel the need to keep in touch, or reach out around to world to some of your blog friends, post a comment here and there on some of our blogs... or even pop in a few times a year on yours. No pressure... we all wish you the best and want you to put your time where it belongs- on getting healthy and taking care of your two beautiful girls. Thank you for all of the wonderful posts you've written, and for all the enjoyment you've brought to your readers. Every time I see a cupcake, I think of you!

These are some great posts that you have on this blog. Does it have anything to do with the dentists in red deer?
