Are you ready for another fantastic giveaway? This week the lovely Sophie from That Vintage is giving one lucky reader of The Red Deer a fantastic prize. Here is a little snippet about Sophie's wonderful Etsy shop...
That Vintage is all about Our Vintage. That Vintage cracked it's own egg in the warm month of February 2008 and fell into the hands of Sophie Hill, a Launceston based bird-obsessive artist and lover of all things handmade. That Vintage pieces are created using a delightful range of fabrics sourced from around the world, and the beautiful timbers that Tasmania has to offer in our own backyard. They are made with love and really, that is all that's needed.
Sophie is giving away these gorgeous Apple earrings (19mm fabric covered). These are so funky and bright! Crispy, crunchy - oh so yum!If you would like to win this fantastic prize here is how you can enter...

Hey Alicia,
I'm not an earring wearer, so won't enter the comp... but....
I am in the middle of making the cookie dough truffles and am now at the "shaping" stage. The mixture seems way too soft, did you have this problem? I triple checked have the right amount of ingredients, but feel if I try to make it into balls, I will just get it all over my hands (not necessarily a bad thing). I have placed it in the fridge to firm up a bit, but would like your advice as the experienced baker you are!

Hi, I've joined as a follower and been to the shop...love Big Friend, Little Friend. Suits me and my best friend well! Love the blog.
I was just recently talking to a friend of mine who is going to art school at Mount Allison. He was talking about how many artists have taken up 'indie canadiana' art.
That Vintage shop follows that sort fo strain with deer, birds and other wild animals.
I love 'That Vintage Pair Of Birds in Red - Ring'
only because I have looked at rings like this for so long and never actually committed.
