Working on...

Trying to finish these mosaic pots that I started forever ago. I am getting so, so close now - I can almost feel it! Once I am done I will post up a tutorial on the whole mosaic process, because even though it can be painstakingly slow - it is a lot of fun and makes such a pretty final product.

Now back to it!

Creative Thursday

Hopefully this will be a new regular on my little blog. I figure that if I keep myself accountable that I will continue to keep the creative juices flowing. So here we go...

I finally finished tiling one of my mosaic pots - it took forever! But I am happy with it. I have another one to do in the same colours, same sized pot, but a different pattern. Once they are finished I will pot them up and they will take place next to our front door. The first one is extremely heavy - so I don't have any fear of someone taking off with my handiwork :P

I'll post more updates of these as I go along - but be warned it is a very slow process for me!

WIP Thursday - Mosaic Pots

I started these pots a long time ago, but because of the pregnancy and little Z I just haven't got around to finishing them. Now that Zoe is settling down a bit I am going to finish these off during her day time naps, plant them up and then put them next to our front door. Hopefully they don't take too long to finish.

Like my new plant? It is a chinese lantern that my good friend gave me - the newest addition to my collection of pots in the back yard.
